Tasting commentary
The 2022 vintage is clearly a vintage out of the ordinary. It was a historic climatic year, with exceptionally hot, dry weather from spring through to summer. Thanks to the diversity of our terroirs, the age of our vines and the efforts of our teams, our vines showed great resilience and produced fruit of the highest quality. Both in the vineyard and in the cellar, delicate and meticulous work was necessary to harmoniously reveal all the richness of Château Giscours 2022. The 2022 vintage is the symbol of tailor-made, high-precision work. This Château Giscours is astonishingly fresh, with full, fine tannins that carry it through to a long finish. It's a vintage out of the ordinary!
