Tasting commentary
The 2022 vintage was marked by extreme weather conditions, a foretaste of the challenges to come. While heat and drought affected gardens and forests, our vines remained verdant, thanks to the excellence of our terroir and sustainable management. After a moderate winter, five nights of frost in April had a limited impact. From May onwards, unprecedented heat waves peaked at 42°C in August. The harvest, which began early in September, benefited from ideal conditions. Our winery, inaugurated in 2020, is designed to reveal the quality of wines even in extreme climates. The 2022 vintage stands out for its power, delicacy, density and remarkable freshness, a real success for our estate.
