Vinification
Each year, the vines await the gradual appearance of the noble fungus, botrytis cinerea. Harvesting is traditionally carried out by successive selections, each grape being hand-picked only when perfectly “roasted”. After hand-picking at optimum ripeness, the grapes are gently pressed in the winery. Vinification takes place in barrels (30% new barrels). Aging continues for 18 months in French oak barrels (Allier and Vosges).

Tasting commentary
A dynamic wine! The nose is precise and taut, opening with a marvel of pear, mango and pineapple. It gains in complexity with pepper! This delicate, elegant spice is synonymous with pure, brilliant botrytis. On the palate, the orange blossom is omnipresent, the touch fine and delicate. The palate is magnificent for its freshness and tension. It's long, it's very long, it's great Rayne Vigneau, it's 2022!
