Tasting commentary
The wine has a very intense colour, with a deep purple to black hue. The nose is captivating and intense. It expresses the exceptional maturity of this vintage, offering aromatic nuances of fruit, flowers, spices and wood, with notes of red and black berries, violets, mocha and black pepper. Aeration brings out a burst of fruit and great freshness. From the outset, the wine explodes on the palate, revealing its extreme quality. Its sweetness, roundness, density and power are impressive, as are its finesse, freshness, unctuous texture and extremely delicate tannins. The finish is magnificent, offering a very long aromatic and physical persistence. A perfect expression of the terroir and old vines of Terrace IV on the Brane plateau.
