Owner's words
The 2024 vintage in Sauternes strikes a perfect balance between sweetness and freshness, completely in tune with modern tastes. The pale yellow colour has a bright rim and is flecked with gold. On the nose, white-fleshed and tropical fruit aromas intertwine with spicy, toasted notes from noble rot and barrel. The palate is creamy yet delightfully light. Freshness takes the lead, lifted by vibrant tension and unfolding into layers of complex aromas. The silky finish coats the palate, lingering with a lively, refreshing flourish. Clos Haut-Peyraguey 2024 will be the perfect choice both as an aperitif in its youth, when the delicate tropical fruit aromas are at their peak, or after a few years of ageing, pairing beautifully with a large variety of dishes.
