Château Haut-Bailly
PESSAC - LÉOGNAN
CRU CLASSÉ DE GRAVES
WILMERS FAMILY
Located at the entrance to Bordeaux, Château Haut-Bailly has for over four centuries dominated a 30-hectare single vineyard entirely devoted to red grape varieties.
The reputation of this cru, established in the 19th century, places it among the greatest wines of Bordeaux. The term “exceptional” most often associated with Haut-Bailly underlines the nobility of its wines.
In 1998, Robert G. Wilmers became owner of Château Haut-Bailly and entrusted the management of the estate to Véronique Sanders. Together, they implemented a policy of demanding quality and respect for the environment, combining innovation and tradition. After the death of Robert G. Wilmers in 2017, his son Chris Wilmers continues this commitment alongside Véronique with the same rigor.
Château Haut-Bailly benefits from a quarter of its surface area planted with century-old vines, and enjoys a unique terroir that ensures the rare consistency of its wines.
It owes its prestige to the inimitable style of its great wines, marked by balance and elegance whatever the vintage.
