Owner's words
The nose is already highly expressive, with delicate notes of white fruits, citrus (grapefruit, mandarin), and white flowers. The aromatic profile is fresh, delicate, very precise, and well-defined. Over time, it develops subtle hints of sweet spices, star anise, and light touches of flint. The attack on the palate is resolutely dynamic, marked by incredible energy and vibrant freshness. Beyond this initial brightness, the wine finds balance with beautiful texture and superb creaminess. The palate is both powerful and velvety, perfectly chiseled by a fresh tension that extends the wine into a long, lingering finish, supported by acidity, freshness, and a remarkable salinity. The finish is exceptionally long, combining delicacy and precision, while expressing an impressive aromatic freshness. The purity of the nose is reflected on the palate, with its subtle blend of white fruits, citrus, and delicate floral notes. The mineral and spicy dimension becomes more pronounced, revealing hints of gunflint, star anise, and fresh mint. This wine is a superb Smith Haut Lafitte Blanc, driven and structured by remarkable freshness, perfectly balanced by a beautiful creaminess. The result is a refined, elegant, and finely chiseled wine, with exceptional aromatic purity.
