Owner's words
2021, a singular vintage where the patience of the winegrower was rewarded and where the terroir and the situation of Château de Lamarque protected us against the weather. It is a year characterized by an increased presence of Cabernet-Sauvignon and Petit-Verdot, in our blend, facing the less prolix Merlot due to the growing conditions. Thanks to excellent maturity, the structured attack continues with a very silky and fleshly volume. The elegant acidity of Cabernets brings to the powerful and spicy Petit Verdot the desired balance of a beautiful wine. Finally, Merlot is the fruity fabric of this blend. Caudalie assured !
