Tasting commentary
The 2022 vintage, with its climatic excesses, perhaps gave us a glimpse of the classicism of the future! It was reminder to us that the vine plant is capable of withstanding extreme conditions. Moreover, the quality of the Merlot produced this year supported our conviction that this grape variety still has a great future on Saint-Emilion's limestone plateau. Nevertheless, the warming and lack of water encourage  us to consider increasingly a viticulture more caring for the global environment within our farm. Garnet colored, purple reflections of iris. Complex and intense nose resulting from a very nice maturity without exotism. Full, fresh and elegant attack, mouth built on dense tannins, spherical and creamy.
