If the size of the berries in Château Rouget 2022 was lower than our estimate – with the consequences of low yields – the juices proved exceptional from the very beginning of the enrobing. We tasted them ripe, smooth, gourmet, but much finer and fresher than we imagined after such hot days. Picked at the right times and vinified separately to respect our intra-parcel selection, our grapes encouraged us to be very little interventionist during vinifications to keep this brightness throughout the breeding.
